Bodger reads The
Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and wonders if he
could solve a mystery. His daydreaming leads to a pair
of bank robbers escaping, so he decides that it his
duty to track them down. He borrows a dog, which leads
him on a false trail. His bad luck turns to good, then
back to bad again |

Swotty Watt is given a
detective costume, but is teased by Charley Brand and
his friends when he wears it. Swotty asks Brassneck to
steal something and leave a trail that will lead to
Charley's house, so that he will get the blame.
Brassneck steals Fatty's chocolate bar, but when
Swotty finds it, no one believes that Charley stole
it. Brassneck tries again, but a fall downstairs
causes a malfunction, and Swotty gets his just
desserts. |

Seeing a group of
elaborately dressed men arriving at the Police College
next door to Greytowers School, Winker Watson tells
Form Master Mr Creep that there is a fancy dress party
going on, and sends him along, dressed as Sherlock
Holmes. Creepy is caught climbing through the window
and discovers that it is actually an International
Police Convention. When he takes out his spite on
Watson, Watson hatches a plot involving a police horse
to get back in Creepy's good books. |
