Charlie is going fishing
because he's burst his foootball, until he remembers
that there's a football match on TV. He turns on the
TV and makes off with the ball. The players climb out
of the TV set and change the channel to a Sherlock
Holmes show. Holmes assists them in tracking Charlie
down. He escapes, but by the time he finds his
friends, the ball has shrunk back to TV screen size. |

Penny and Teddy Thomas
have an argument over who should get out of whose way.
Penny bites his nose, and he tosses her head over
heels. Looking for him with mace in hand, she uses
torture on those she encounters, but fails to find
him. Herblock Soames appears and promises to lead her
to Teddy, but he is not all that he appears to be. |

Witnessing a bank
robbery, Charlie turns on his TV set and brings out
Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. Holmes uses his violin
bow to stop the thieves' getaway. |

Charlie falls asleep in
front of the TV, allowing King Alfred to escape, steal
Charlie's sweets, and flee. Charlie switches the
channel and recruits Sherlock Holmes to hunt down the
King, who hides in a tree, then attempts to escape by
boat. |

It's Penny's dad's
birthday, and she decides she's going to give him some
tobacco. Not wanting to pay for it, she sets off with
a vacuum cleaner to assail the local pipe smokers, who
seem to include Sherlock Holmes. Dad isn't as pleased
as she expected. |

Having failed to kidnap
Lord Henry's cook, Parkinson and Bloggs abduct Joe
Wayne the stable-lad instead. His Lordship is playing
rugby, but his team need the help of Jarvis the butler
to be in with a chance of winning. After learning of
Joe's abduction, Lord Henry, dressed as Sherlock
Holmes, shows up at Scotland Yard with a bloodhound. |

Soppy the bloodhound is
led astray by a fish and chip shop. His Lordship takes
to television to appeal for witnesses to the
kidnapping of Joe Wayne. A lead takes him back to the
chip shop. |

The train on which Janus
Stark is travelling back to London is derailed by a
monster tearing up the tracks. Rescuers arrive,
including Inspector Grett, dressed in Sherlockian
attire. The inspector asks Stark for assistance,
sending him to Brickwell, where two policemen have
been attacked. |

Janus Stark is too late
to save two more policemen from being attacked by the
monster. He leads it into the flood-water tunnels
below the street, and dicovers that it is a robot.
Inspector Grett, still in Sherlockian dress, is on
hand to arrest its inventor. |

Odd Job Bob receives a
request from a detective to assist him on a case. He
dresses in Sherlockian garb, but the case turns out
not to be what he expected. |
