Inspector Bonehead and
Sergeant Dimm are protecting film star Sue Perr's gems
from the jewel thief Diamond Jules Sparkel. At the
film studio they take on the roles of Sheerluck Jones
and Dr Blotson. Sparkel makes off with Miss Perr's
ring by penny-farthing. Arriving at the English
Channel, they discover that Sheerluck Jones Junior has
been put on the case. |

After fruitlessly
checking the passports of ferry passengers, Bonehead
and Dimm are called to the home of Lady Heidi High,
where Diamond Jules has struck again. Sheerluck Jones
is already there, but is snared by the jewel thief.
Bonehead and Dimm are hauled over the coals by the
Chief Constable for wrecking a police car. |
