“SHERLOCK HOLMES” IN DUNDEE
-
HER MAJESTY’S THEATREAt Her Majesty’s Theatre next week a return visit will be made by Charles Frohman’s company in William Gillette’s and Conan Doyle’s most successful play, “Sherlock Holmes.” It will be remembered that this play gained a great reputation when it was here last, and appealed to all classes of playgoers, the theatre being crowded nightly.
The company that Mr Frohman is sending is a very powerful one, and includes Dalziel Heron, as Sherlock Holmes; Marjorie Murray, as Alice Faulkner; Robert Forsyth, Ernest Ruston, Fred Inwood, Katherine del Rey, and Theodora Diehl.
There will be a matinee on Saturday, March 26. A special “Souvenir Night” of “Sherlock Holmes” at Her Majesty’s Theatre is advertised for Monday next, when everyone paying for admission to the theatre will be presented with an artistic souvenir of the play.
